1776 K Street, once a prominent office building just steps from The White House, Dupont Circle, and multiple Metro stations, was in need of stronger positioning; office buildings may be less desirable in today's market, but the prime location made it a perfect candidate to become DC's latest hotel offering. While such a prominent and dense area required extra planning and coordination, our skilled Repositioning + Renovation team had the expertise and experience to tackle the challenge. They were able to develop this new 280-room hotel, adding 72,000-SF to the already large 198,000-SF existing structure and crafting a 3,600-SF Conference Center, a 2,000-SF cafe/bar, 1,500-SF Fitness Center and multiple retail spaces on the ground floor for pedestrians visiting our Nation's Capital.
