Kara’s perspective is one of the most unique in our industry, blending technical expertise and a design-focused background in order to view projects like no one else can. Before working at DAVIS, she was an architect for a prominent firm—and as a DAVIS Project Executive, she uses those skills to dig into the details, uncover solutions and deliver the most technically-challenging projects in our region. Kara has built a diverse and impressive portfolio of work ranging from multinational corporations’ headquarters to high-end retail stores and coworking spaces. An excellent communicator, Kara’s leadership ensures expectations are exceeded for safety, quality and workmanship—and even under the tightest deadlines, she remains calm and guides us on the path to success.

The interiors market is fast-paced and hectic, but Kara doesn’t just survive in that environment—she thrives.

A mother to three active boys, Kara’s workload doesn’t let up outside of the jobsite. She also lends her time to helping those around her as a board member for Calvary Women’s Services, a non-profit dedicated to helping empower homeless women in Washington, DC.
