DAVIS Breaks Ground in Historic Charleston

Big news from Charleston’s historic French Quarter—Hotel Volant is officially underway! Alongside our project partners, DAVIS recently put shovels in the ground to celebrate the start of construction on this highly anticipated 50-room boutique hotel.

Located in the heart of downtown, on the former site of a neighborhood bakery and convenience store, Hotel Volant will introduce a new level of refined luxury to this distinguished and storied district. Representatives from Spaulding & Slye Investments (SSI), South Atlantic Bank, and LS3P joined the celebration, marking an exciting milestone for the project and the community.

While the groundbreaking signals an important moment, it’s just the beginning of DAVIS’ growing footprint in the Carolinas. Hotel Volant is slated for completion in 2027, and it's only onward and upward from here!
