DAVIS Holds 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament!

A man golfing

For the thirteenth consecutive year, we hosted our Annual Charity Golf Tournament. What began as a small gathering of clients, partners, and friends has grown into one of our most impactful fundraising traditions and a shared commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.

This year's tournament was our largest yet, bringing to Turf Valley Resort more than 260 golfers and a record number of trade partner sponsors, nearly doubling the participation we typically see. Thanks to their generosity, we raised $110,000, with $55,000 benefiting each of this year's charitable partners: Easterseals and the District of Columbia Students Construction Trades Foundation.

For more than 100 years, Easterseals has worked to strengthen communities by providing essential services and support for children, adults, veterans, military families, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities. Through early intervention programs, wellness and social engagement opportunities, employment assistance, mental health resources, and respite services, Easterseals helps people of all ages live, learn, work, and thrive.

The District of Columbia Students Construction Trades Foundation helps create pathways into the construction industry for local students by connecting young people with education, mentorship, training, and employment opportunities. Their work helps develop the next generation of skilled trades professionals while opening doors to meaningful careers throughout the region.

In addition to a day of networking and friendly competition, golfers competed for several tournament honors, including Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Lowest Team Score.

Longest Drives (Men): Brian LaChance (DAVIS) + Bryan Bradford (Metro Test and Balance)
Longest Drive (Women): Julia Malitoris (DAVIS) + Maureen Murphy (Steel Products)
Closest to the Pin: Mike Cochran (Cochran and Mann) + Logan Goodrich (Soils Consultant Engineering)
Winning Foursomes: Matt Sanderhoff, Joey Goodwin, Guy Beven, Michael Greene (GB Shades) + Rick Dion, Kyle McCullogh, Tom Malner, Max Magladry (Severn Mechanical)

The success of this year's tournament reflects the extraordinary generosity of our trade partners, clients, and employees. Together, we not only celebrated another memorable day on the course but also made a meaningful investment in organizations that are strengthening our communities and creating opportunities for future generations.

We are grateful to everyone who sponsored, participated in, and supported this year's event. Your continued commitment to giving back is what makes this tradition possible.
