SUMMARY:
The Project Accountant performs a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and processing of project cost and payment records, including providing overall support to operations staff with financial details.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience
Two (2) to four (4) years of Accounting experience
Public accounting experience preferred
Construction industry experience is strongly preferred
Decision making, research and analytical problem-solving skills
Time management skills with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands
Ability to work independently
CMiC software experience a plus
Able to quickly learn and understand new software and systems
TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Independently updates existing account reconciliation and analysis templates (over / under billing, closeout reports, negative cash, prepaids, accruals)
Efficiently produces work deliverables in CMiC
Applies general knowledge of GAAP developed through education or experience to correctly record accruals, prepaids, over / under billing adjustments
Reviews, validates, and analyzes CMiC reporting (PSRs / Invoices to be posted, expense reimbursements, GL account balances)
Creates accurate schedules and submits to Management
Applies general knowledge of excel to update recurring or ad hoc excel schedules

The base salary (or hourly) range for this position is
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00DAVIS is committed to providing our employees with a competitive total compensation package that enhances your quality of life.
