The Compliance Coordinator assists projects with federal, state, and local wage compliance.  This role also supports our operations to comply with socio-economic requirements, education for operation’s staff, resource groups, trade partners, and clients. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform responsibilities with excellence in service, integrity, inclusion and building relationships as exemplified in DAVIS core values

  • Audits CRM for project compliance requirements and communicates with revenue group leadership regarding upcoming project compliance requirements

  • Updates compliance tracking log in preparation for weekly compliance review meetings

  • Issues registration form and training videos to trade partners in advance of mobilization and determines need for onboarding meetings

  • Ensures tracking and compliance with CBE, MBE, Section 3, select DAVIS-Bacon projects, DEI, etc.

  • Maintains agenda for weekly meeting including audit tracking efforts + projects on-deck for next meeting

  • Confirm compliance certifications for identified

  • Notifies project managers when deficiencies or late reporting occurs

  • Submits final reports to regulatory agencies on behalf of the project team

  • Participates in project kickoff meetings to educate the project team on the specific compliance requirements, including roles and responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, + SPECIAL SKILLS

*Required

  • Experience in compliance management such as Davis-Bacon, First Source, CBE preferred but not required

  • Understanding of all federal, state, and local regulations

  • Decision making, research and analytical problem-solving skills*

  • Time management with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands, and to work independently*

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organization*

  • Construction industry experience preferred

PHYSICAL JOB DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reaching above and below, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending. The employee must occasionally lift / carry / move up to 25 pounds.  Manual dexterity to operate office equipment, file, and perform specialized skills.  Needs a high degree of concentration in a busy office environment.  

WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to higher noise levels and hazardous working conditions when working at job sites.  Safety precautions must be taken and resources will be provided.

The base salary (or hourly) range for this position is

$55,000.00 - $75,000.00
