University of Michigan Alumni Center

DAVIS is delivering a new alumni center for the University of Michigan at 1700 M Street that will span the first and second floors, creating a dynamic hub for alumni and staff in DC.

The project includes a mix of private offices, conference and huddle rooms, a training room, and pantry spaces, all finished in elevated “Blue and Maize” colors that reflect the university’s identity. A new monumental stair will connect the two levels, requiring precise slab modifications, along with concrete topping slabs to address existing floor conditions.

Once complete, the space will offer a cohesive and welcoming environment that brings the U of M community together in the District. Stay tuned for more updates!
