To better serve their communities, the Alexandria Department of Community and Human Services, the Virginia Department of Health, and Neighborhood Health created a one-stop-shop for all their health and community services, improving cross-department collaboration and create more operational efficiencies. Our role—complete interior renovations and a new main-entrance canopy—will support these organizations' mission to better the lives of Alexandrians for years to come. The upgrades include a full interior build-out accommodating a mix of administrative offices, health examination spaces, and behavioral health services — each designed to support the distinct operational needs of multiple agencies. The new entry canopy provides a welcoming experience to anyone visiting. Together, they create a cohesive, modern facility to deliver integrated human services for years to come.
