909 E Street
Project Brief
Located in the East End, 909 E Street was built in 1910 as the home of Weschler's Auctioneers & Appraisers, an auction house. Douglas Development made plans to revitalize the space, but knew they wanted to maintain the historic appearance. They trusted DAVIS to take on this challenge, and our project team delivered an amazing final result. The old structure was an uncommon one, as it was composed of concrete columns and beams with wood plank floors, but our team was able to renovate the space by adding a steel brace frame within the building, and even added a penthouse level on top of the existing roof!
