North Potomac Yard Landbay F
Project Brief
North Potomac Yard is a 70-acre small area plan brownfield located in the northeast area of the City, immediately south of downtown Washington, D.C. and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, that has operated as a trade corridor and active railroad. Landbay F is located in the northern portion of Potomac Yard, and was developed in the mid-1990s as an automobile-oriented, approximately 600,000 sq. ft., retail shopping center with predominately “big box” national retailers, pad sites, a 16-screen cinema, and surface parking.
DAVIS' installation of infrastructure (dry and wet utilities) for the upcoming development of various parcels at North Potomac Yard Landbay F area includes a 4.5 acre park, storm line, sanitary line, electric ductbank, street lights, and concrete road. The park will include trees, stone features, shade structures, playground with slides, and a half-mile bike path!
