As a licensed CPA for 30 years, Melissa brings a broad background spanning across public and private domestic and international companies in manufacturing, construction management, real estate development, and other industries. She utilizes her wide knowledge base to help oversee our accounting and financial reporting activities; she leads her talented accounting team in supporting treasury, payroll, financial and project accounting as well as manages necessary audits to ensure successful business outcomes. Melissa leads with an emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness.  She focuses on engaging both clients and team members to better develop our organization as a leader in the construction industry.

Leveraging her extensive experience and collaborative style allows her to build strong relationships with all parties, from auditors, banking, and bonding partners to colleagues and executive leaders.  She assesses business needs, and leads process improvement and technology initiatives, making her an invaluable piece to our mission.

Melissa is passionate about empowering and supporting purpose-driven organizations in the community: she’s a 13-year member of the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Corporate Advisory Board, an active member of the Maryland Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, a Women We Admire Top 50 Women Leaders of Baltimore honoree, and a U.S. Navy veteran.
