DAVIS offers tuition reimbursement
for employees who want to continue their education.
We maintain an aggressive regular in-house operational
training schedule for all employees. The current training
schedule covers such topics as personal investments,
contract writing, presentations, quality control, estimating,
shop drawing, project reporting, and scheduling.
DAVIS sponsors and encourages participation in many
professional organizations. Currently we have memberships
and representation with numerous associations including
AIA, CREW, DCBIA, GWCAR, IFMA, IIDA, NAIOP, NVTC, ULI,
USGBC, and WBC. Participation in the programs these
organizations have to offer is strongly encouraged.
DAVIS is committed to the continual research and investment
in information technology tools and training. We understand
the importance of communication in the building process
and provide our employees with the latest tools to enhance
performance. While DAVIS’ Information Technology
department does employ some individuals with a purely
technical background, many have previous work experience
in the construction industry. This knowledge helps us
to effectively understand and apply technology to solve
many of the “day to day” issues encountered
by our employees.
