This position will be an integral member of the Estimating Department. Duties include: quantity take-offs; develop trade scopes; assist with the solicitation of subcontractor bids; and prepare bid packages, conceptual estimates, and analyze subcontractor bids. Help Desk Technician
DAVIS has an opening in its Rockville Office for a motivated Help Desk Technician to provide technical support to company users both on and off-site. This position is responsible to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve end user issues with PC and laptop configurations, network connectivity, printers, telecom and peripherals. Strong customer service and problem resolution skills are required. Prefer candidates with a minimum 2 year technical degree or previous related experience. EOE

Project Manager
Our Interior Project Managers are empowered
with both the responsibility and authority to lead their
project and resolve construction issues as the primary
representative of DAVIS. Our Interior Project Managers
provide overall management direction to multiple projects;
establish project objectives and policies; and maintain
relationships with prime clients. Responsibilities include
direct communication with owners and architects; submittal
processing; procurement of subcontractors and materials;
budgeting; and project scheduling. Candidates should
possess a Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture,
engineering, or a related field and at least five years

Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
A Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
performs essential project management tasks such as
updating project schedules, processing submittals, assisting
with the subcontractor procurement process, and subcontractor
trade coordination. This position is intended as a training
ground for individuals to gain the depth of experience
required to become a Project Manager. Candidates should
possess a Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture,

Scheduling Manager
This position is responsible for providing technical support and education to the operations staff in critical path method (CPM) scheduling at the project level, and to assist in developing schedules for presentations and proposals. Essential duties and responsibilities include developing CPM scheduling education program, providing schedule software support to individuals for problem solving and trouble-shooting, providing expert scheduling support for operations staff, and assisting in the preparation of proposal schedules and presentation graphics. Must have a minimum of 5 years scheduling experience in building construction, advanced understanding of critical path method scheduling and excellent working knowledge of CPM scheduling applications including Primavera Project. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred. EOE

Project Managers
Our Senior Project Managers are empowered with

of DAVIS. Our Senior Project Managers provide overall
management direction to multiple projects; establish
project objectives and policies; and act as liaisons
with our prime clients. Responsibilities include supervision
of the project team; direct communication with owners
and architects; procurement of subcontractors and materials;
budgeting; and project scheduling. Candidates should
possess a Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture,
engineering, or a related field and at least ten years
of applicable experience. Currently, we are actively
seeking candidates with a high-rise residential, interior,
and/or commercial office project management background.

Superintendents
Our Superintendents are empowered with both
the responsiblity and authority to lead their project
and resolve construction issues as a primary representative
of DAVIS. A DAVIS Superintendent leads jobs with strict
adherence to OSHA standards and continual awareness
of jobsite safety. A Superintendent's duties include
open communication with the project team; coordination
and scheduling of the project; and providing a supporting
role for preconstruction services. Superintendents observe
and interface with subcontractors to monitor work performance,
progress, and productivity of crafts. Superintendents
are liaisons between engineers, subcontractors, and
architects to ensure construction compliance with drawings
and specifications. Candidates should possess at least
8 years of experience with base building, tenant, or
residential high-rise experience. Currently, we are
actively seeking candidates with high-rise, base building,
or interior experience. EOE
