Assistant Project Manager
An APM performs essential project management tasks
such as updating project schedules, processing submittals,
assisting with the subcontractor procurement process,
and subcontractor trade coordination. This position
is intended as a training ground for individuals to
gain the depth of experience required to become a Project
Manager. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree
in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related
field.

Project Manager
Our Project Managers are empowered with both the responsibility
and authority to lead their project and resolve construction
issues as the primary representative of DAVIS. Our Project
Managers provide overall management direction to multiple
projects; establish project objectives and policies;
and maintain liaison with prime clients. Responsibilities
include direct communication with owners and architects;
submittal processing; procurement of subcontractors
and materials; budgeting; and project scheduling. Candidates
should possess a Bachelor's degree in construction,
architecture, engineering, or a related field and at
least five years of applicable experience. Currently,
we are actively seeking candidates with a residential
and/or commercial office project management background.

Interiors
Project Manager
Our Interiors Project Managers are empowered with both
the responsibility and authority to lead their project
and resolve construction issues as the primary representative
of DAVIS. Our Interiors Project Managers provide overall
management direction to multiple projects; establish
project objectives and policies; and maintain liaison
with prime clients. Responsibilities include direct
communication with owners and architects; submittal
processing; procurement of subcontractors and materials;
budgeting; and project scheduling. Candidates should
possess a Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture,
engineering, or a related field and at least five years
of applicable experience. Currently, we are actively
seeking candidates with an interiors project management
or interiors design background.

Senior Project Manager
Our Senior Project Managers are empowered with both

and resolve construction issues as the primary representative
of DAVIS. Our Senior Project Managers provide overall
management direction to multiple projects; establish
project objectives and policies; and maintain liaison
with prime clients. Responsibilities include supervision
of the project team; direct communication with owners
and architects; procurement of subcontractors and materials;
budgeting; and project scheduling. Candidates should
possess a Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture,
engineering, or a related field and at least ten years
of applicable experience. Currently, we are actively
seeking candidates with a residential and/or commercial
office project management background.

Superintendent
Our Superintendents are empowered with both the responsibility
and authority to lead their project and resolve construction
issues as the primary representative of DAVIS. A DAVIS
Superintendent leads jobs with strict adherence to OSHA
standards and continual awareness of jobsite safety.
A Superintendent’s duties include open communication
with the project team; coordination and scheduling of
the project; and providing a supporting role for preconstruction
services. Superintendents observe and interface with
subcontractors to monitor work performance, progress,
and productivity of crafts. Superintendents liaison
between engineers, subcontractors, and architects to
ensure construction compliance with drawings and specifications.
Candidates should possess at least 8 years of experience
with base building, tenant, or residential high-rise
experience. Currently, we are actively seeking candidates
with high-rise and/or commercial office experience.

Layout Engineer
The Layout Engineer provides computer-aided design
engineering services for controls and layout at construction
sites. Additional duties include assisting in the evaluation
of potential dimensions, installing control lines, and
providing technical feedback to subcontractors to ensure
work complies with engineering standards, codes, and
specifications. Preferred candidates will possess a
Bachelors degree in engineering, math, or applied science.
2 years of construction industry practical experience
preferred.

Information Systems
Engineer
The Information Systems Engineer is responsible for
supporting the Information Systems Manager with the
planning, implementation, administration, and support
of all information systems utilized in the main offices
and jobsite locations for DAVIS and subsidiaries. Duties
include: providing support and training to all end users
utilizing the network; initiating all user account authorization
and maintenance; managing software installation; upgrades
and maintenance for servers and client machines; documenting
reported problems in the help desk database; and following
up with end users to ensure timely resolutions of problems.
Candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree in Information
Systems.

Estimator
The Estimator position will be an integral member of
the Estimating Department. The Estimator will do quantity
take-offs; develop trade scopes and assist with solicitatation
of subcontractor bids; as well as prepare bid packages,
conceptual estimates, and analyze subcontractor bids.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in construction,
architecture, engineering, or a related field. Preferred
candidates will have 1-3 years of estimating experience.

Preconstruction
Manager
The Preconstruction Manager would be responsible for
overall management of the preconstruction phase of negotiated
commercial building projects including preparation of
estimates and preliminary construction schedules; proposal
preparation and/or presentation; and subcontractor bid
solicitation. Microsoft Office knowledge is required
and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction
Management, or other related field is preferred. Strong
presentation and communications skills required. A minimum
of 5 years in Estimating or Preconstruction is necessary.

Scheduling Manager
This position is responsible for providing technical
support and education to the operations staff in critical
path method (CPM) scheduling at the project level, and
to assist in developing schedules for presentations
and proposals. Duties include, leading in the creation
and deployment of scheduling best practices; scheduling
reviews with project teams to ensure schedules are being
developed properly; and identifying areas of concern
related to schedules on selected high risk projects.
Five years scheduling experience in building construction
is required. Advanced understanding of critical path
method scheduling is a must. Bachelor's degree in engineering,
architecture, or construction management preferred.
