Project Administrator
The Project Administrator performs a variety of administrative and staff support duties for a VP group, which require a range of skills and a knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. These duties include assisting and directing visitors; resolving administrative problems and inquiries; composing, editing, and proofreading correspondence and reports; and preparing a range of administrative documents. Candidates should possess at least three (3) years of administrative experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Construction administrative experience a plus. EOE

Proposal and Market Research Manager
James G. Davis Construction Corporation has an opening for a Proposal and Market Research Manager in its Rockville, MD location. This position is primarily responsible for providing proposal support and market research assistance in respect to new business opportunities. Job duties include but are not limited to leading teams in the production of proposals with a variety of staff members involved; ability to collaborate and work as a team leader, with dynamic interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management; act as a point of contact for collecting, compiling, and formatting qualifications / proposals; research market information for all DAVIS market leaders on a regular basis; maintain market research in an accessible database and communicate with DAVIS Market Leaders to ensure their research needs are being met. At least four years of previous proposal coordinator and research experience required. Experience coordinating the activities associated with developing technical and price proposals a must. Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, and/or Construction Administration degree preferred. EOE

Senior Estimator
This position will be an integral member of the Estimating Department. The Senior Estimator will do quantity take-offs; develop trade scopes and assist with solicitation of subcontractor bids; as well as prepare bid packages, conceptual estimates, and analyze subcontractor bids. Candidates must have the ability to lead an Estimating team in a bid effort including coordination of all trade scopes; knowledge of the entire project; and coordination with operations and other departments. 10+ years of estimating experience is required. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture ,engineering, or a related field. Knowledge in pricing multiple trades is preferred. EOE

Estimator
The Estimator position will be an integral member of the Estimating Department. The Estimator will do quantity take-offs; develop trade scopes; assist with the solicitation of subcontractor bids; and prepare bid packages, conceptual estimates, and analyze subcontractor bids. Candidates should posses a Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field. Preferred candidates will have 5+ years of estimating experience. EOE

Interior Project Manager
Our Interior Project Managers are empowered with both the responsibility and authority to lead their project and resolve construction issues as the primary representative of DAVIS. Our Interior Project Managers provide overall management direction to multiple projects; establish project objectives and policies; and maintain relationships with prime clients. Responsibilities include direct communication with owners and architects; submittal processing; procurement of subcontractors and materials; budgeting; and project scheduling. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field and at least five years of applicable experience. EOE

Project Manager
Our Project Managers are empowered with both the responsibility and authority to lead their project and resolve construction issues as the primary representative of DAVIS. Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
A Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager performs essential project management tasks such as updating project schedules, processing submittals, assisting with the subcontractor procurement process, and subcontractor trade coordination. This position is intended as a training ground for individuals to gain the depth of experience required to become a Project Manager. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field. EOE
