HELPING SMALL BUSINESSES SUCCEED AND GROW
At DAVIS, we understand the value of collaboration and effective partnerships, no matter the size of the company. As local general contractors, the growth of our small business community results in a more diversified subcontractor pool, improved economic stability, and more available expertise. DAVIS continues to demonstrate our commitment to providing professional and economic opportunities for those who live and work around us.

As part of our Workforce + Community Development program, we pursue and achieve effective participation of Small, Minority, Women-Owned, and/or CBE certified firms, and invest in our ongoing relationships with firms that meet these standards. DAVIS works closely with these firms and their employees to grow their business and enhance professional development. In addition, we utilize the resources of the Department of Minority Business Enterprise (DMBE), Small Business Administration (SBA), the National Minority Purchasing Council Vendor Information Services, the Department of Small & Local Business Development (DSLBD), and CBE/minority business trade associations.

In May 2011, with the approval of the US Small Business Administration, DAVIS teamed with Daytner Construction Group to establish the DCG DAVIS Joint Venture, an 8(a) Mentor Protégé to pursue Federal Government projects.

DCG DAVIS Joint Venture
We proudly serve as a mentor to our protégé small business, Daytner Construction Group (DCG), and have formed the DCG DAVIS Joint Venture. The DCG DAVIS Joint Venture focuses on Government and Federal Agency projects, and is underpinned by our shared beliefs in doing business the right way. Both firms' reputation and success is built on strong leadership, integrity, and lasting client relationships, with an unequivocal commitment to safety. Staying true to this philosophy ensures that DCG DAVIS delivers expertise and quality – every time.
