Cabot Tech is an interior build-out of a single story, high bay shell that required extensive site modifications for both perimeter and entrance security and equipment accommodations.  The client is two components of a federal government agency tasked with both monitoring and crisis management of national transportation issues and the daily scheduling and dispatch of the federal air marshal force on a national level.  The finished project includes a 24/7 mission critical facility supporting two separate NOC type functions, traditional hard wall and systems furniture office areas, a fitness facility with shower facilities, four core restrooms, equipment support spaces, an exterior generator/chiller equipment yard, and reconfigured site entrances.  Support equipment includes two 1.5 MW gensets with integral fuel tanks in acoustical enclosures, two 500 kVA UPS with 15 minute batteries, three 120 ton chillers, 25 CRAC units of various tonnage capacities, 13 RTUs, utility, paralleling and emergency distribution switchgear.  All 24/7 support equipment is provided in an N + 1 configuration.
