An expansion of the existing gymnasium, which included the renovation of the existing athletic facility and a new 60,000-Sf addition.  The new three-floor space contains locker rooms, team meeting rooms, faculty office space, a Hall of Fame room, fitness center, and weight room.  The 37,000-SF renovated gymnasium was completed and includes a modernized competition gym, wrestling room, training / rehab area, and equipment storage areas.  The project was designed and completed to be LEED.  Due to the limited site area, adjacent buildings, and occupied campus setting, a complex phasing plan was designed and coordinated with the client.  This proactive planning helped to minimize disruption and protected the facility and students from the construction area.
