3,300-SF interior renovation

OWNER:

I Gorman Jewelers

ARCHITECT:

Hickok Cole Architects

DURATION:

5 Months

This was an interior build-out of a 3,300-SF high-end jewelry store.  The space has all custom interiors including custom designed display cases and millwork constructed with dark wenge wood and white resin.  Customers are first welcomed by a dramatic back-lit onyx wall and a white resin beverage bar.  A curved dark wood and white resin structure supports three suspended circular display cases.  Two bold confident forms resting on one another create the beverage bar, accompanied by multiple floating bubble lights suspended sporadically at different heights.  There is stone flooring throughout the store and a custom vault was added that required additional supplemental steel support for the garage below.  A new storefront with integral display is included with a wedge veneer 3 form facade.
